A personalized approach underscores the department’s philosophy in maximizing student potential, both academically and personally. Offerings include a variety of core subjects, such as, Reading Skills, Math Elective, Algebra Skills A & B, Earth Science Skills, Life Science Skills, VH Skills, and MDD Program. Teachers are committed professionals in ensuring student placement in an effort to foster higher gains in student achievement while in high school and for post high school transition. Our program has grown to support our students in the General Education setting by providing additional teaching support with an additional teacher in select English, Math, and Science GE classrooms.
