The Mathematics Department is committed to providing a rigorous standards based curriculum for all students at all levels. Courses are taught using numeric, graphical, and analytical approaches providing all students the opportunity to learn and succeed. All students are required to complete a minimum of two years of math to graduate, with three or four years recommended. Since completion of Algebra 1 is a state requirement for graduation, our Algebra 1A and 1B classes are taught at a 20:1 ratio to allow for more individual assistance.
