Temple City High School

About Us

Temple City High School (TCHS) is a four-year comprehensive secondary school located in Temple City, California, in Los Angeles County. The school has earned recognition as both a California Distinguished School and a California Gold Ribbon School and was ranked among America’s Best High Schools by Newsweek.

TCHS is known for its strong performing arts program, robust STEAM clubs and classes, and a wide range of Career Technical Education pathways, including Sports Medicine, Woodworking, Computer-Aided Design, Culinary Arts, Business Entrepreneurship, Graphic Communication, and Digital Photography. Our STEAM programs feature competitive teams such as Science Olympiad, Heliotech, and SeaPerch, while many of our students also shine in Speech and Debate, SkillsUSA, and FBLA.

Our students are well-rounded in academics and athletics, and we also focus on the whole child by supporting their mental well-being. Through our CARE Culture program, we emphasize positive behaviors, while our counselors provide lessons and individual meetings to guide and support student wellness.
