SENIOR SENDOFF
On May 19, 2026, students should arrive dressed in school colors and prepared for the heat, lining up at the visitor bleachers for their senior run. To ensure a smooth event, only graduation plans submitted through the Rampage survey will be acknowledged, and students must hold up their signs to be read before starting their single run. Please note that water guns, balloons, silly string, confetti, and outside food or drink (excluding water) are strictly prohibited, as is the throwing of any objects. Participants are expected to remain spirited yet respectful, returning to their seats immediately after their run; any disrespectful behavior may result in a loss of privileges.
SENIOR SUNSET
Friday, May 22 – Held at the TCHS Sports Complex from 6:30pm to sunset (grads meet at 6:15 p.m.). Grads should wear gowns and stoles (no caps) over nice attire. This event includes speeches and performances as you close out your senior year with classmates. Families are welcome.
Please no food or drinks on the field. Water is allowed.
SENIOR PARADES/GRAD WALKS
La Rosa and Longden Grad Walks are May 22 at 1:30pm.
Cloverly and Emperor Grad Walks are Tuesday, May 26 at 1:30pm
Please wear your caps and gowns and stoles.
SENIOR CHECKOUT & CLEARANCES
Seniors may begin checkout with teachers and the Media Center starting May 18. Final clearance (fines, uniforms, etc.) must be completed by May 28 3:30pm in Room 311 . Book returns and fines are processed in the Media Center by cash or check only. Graduation tickets will be issued once all clearances are complete.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL & TICKET DISTRIBUTION
Thursday, May 28 – Rehearsal starts at 9:30 a.m. Tickets will be distributed after rehearsal to seniors who have completed checkout.
SENIOR PICNIC
Thursday, May 28 – Held at the TCHS Victory Plaza after graduation rehearsal. Enjoy food, yearbook signing, and photo opportunities.
GRADUATION TICKETS
Each graduate will receive six (6) tickets. The graduate does not need a ticket.
GRADUATION CEREMONY
Friday, May 29 – Commencement begins at 6:00 p.m. (Students arrive by 4:30 p.m.). Gates open at 5:00pm. The ceremony will be livestreamed; a link will be shared via ParentSquare. Students may not bring personal items to the field.
DRESS CODE FOR GRADUATES
Grads should wear semi-formal attire under gowns (e.g., dress shirts with ties, dresses with appropriate footwear - no spiked heels, recommend closed toe shoes). Tribal regalia is allowed as it pertains to California Education Code Section 35183.1. Additionally, leis and other personal celebratory items are not to be worn during the processional or ceremony; these should be saved for photos with family and friends once the event is over.
DIPLOMA PICKUP
Diplomas will be distributed after the ceremony outside Room 311 until 8:00pm. If not picked up Friday, they will be available starting June 2 in the Registrar’s Office. Please email Ms. Shriver at lshriver@tcusd.net to schedule pickup.
